Snapdragon 8 Elite Powers the Latest Neo
The newly announced iQOO Neo10 Pro+ marks a significant upgrade over its predecessors, featuring Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. This chipset represents a generational leap from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 found in the standard Neo10 released late last year. The device pairs this powerful processor with iQOO's self-developed Q2 gaming chip, which handles resolution and frame rate upscaling to deliver enhanced gaming performance. According to benchmark results, the device achieves an impressive AnTuTu score of 2,909,832, positioning it among the top-performing smartphones currently available.
Enhanced Display Technology
The Neo10 Pro+ features a substantial display upgrade compared to its predecessors. It sports a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED panel with 2K+ resolution (up from 1260p+ on previous models) and a variable 1-144Hz refresh rate. The screen utilizes BOE's latest Q10 luminescent material, enabling 1,800 nits of global peak brightness and an impressive 4,500 nits of local peak brightness. Touch sampling rates reach up to 300Hz for responsive gaming input. The display is protected by an ultrasonic fingerprint reader embedded beneath the screen, offering faster and more secure authentication than optical alternatives.
Massive Battery with Advanced Charging
Perhaps the most notable improvement is the battery capacity, which has been increased to 6,800mAh from the 6,100mAh found in earlier Neo10 models. This dual-cell design supports 120W fast charging, capable of reaching 70% capacity in just 25 minutes. The device also accommodates 100W charging through standard USB Power Delivery chargers, providing flexibility for users with existing charging equipment. A particularly useful feature for gamers is the battery bypass option, which allows the phone to run directly off wall power during extended gaming sessions, preserving battery health.
Camera System and Design
The camera configuration on the Neo10 Pro+ includes a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization and VCS bionic eye technology for improved low-light performance. This is complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens that supports an exaggerated fisheye mode. The front-facing camera has been upgraded to 32MP from the 16MP found on previous models. The phone maintains the Neo series' distinctive design language, featuring a porthole style dual camera module and 8-bit pixel art aesthetic elements. It's available in three color options: Racing White, Racing Black, and a blue-dominant Super Pixel variant that extends the pixel design across the entire back panel.
Cooling and Connectivity
To manage thermal performance during intensive tasks, iQOO has equipped the Neo10 Pro+ with a large 7,000mm² vapor chamber cooling system—the same one found in the premium iQOO 13. The device also features 23 surrounding antennas to ensure stable connectivity in various usage scenarios. Additionally, the Neo10 Pro+ comes with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, a feature that was absent from previous Neo series devices.
Pricing and Availability
The iQOO Neo10 Pro+ is currently available in China with several configuration options. The base 12GB RAM with 256GB storage model starts at CNY 2,799 (approximately USD 388), while the top-tier 16GB RAM with 1TB storage variant is priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately USD 554). With government subsidies in China, these prices are even more attractive, starting at CNY 2,379.15 (approximately USD 330) for the base model.
Ecosystem Expansion
Alongside the Neo10 Pro+, iQOO also introduced several other products to expand its ecosystem. These include the iQOO Pad5 and Pad5 Pro tablets, the iQOO Watch 5 smartwatch, and the TWS Air3 wireless earbuds. The Pad5 Pro features a 13-inch 3.1K resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate and is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9400+ chipset, while the standard Pad5 comes with a 12.1-inch display and last year's Dimensity 9300+ processor. The Watch 5 offers up to 22 days of battery life, while the affordable TWS Air3 earbuds feature 12mm drivers and Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity.
