Display and Design Improvements

The Hot 60i features a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, maintaining the same screen size as its predecessor while delivering notable brightness improvements. The panel now reaches 700 nits peak brightness, representing a 40% increase from the previous 500 nits, though it retains the 720p+ resolution. The display incorporates Always On Display functionality and supports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Despite housing a larger battery, the device achieves a slimmer profile at just 7.7mm thickness and weighs 188 grams.

Performance and Hardware Specifications

Under the hood, the Hot 60i continues to utilize the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate chipset, the same processor found in the Hot 50i. Memory configurations include 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM paired with either 128GB or 256GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. Users can expand storage capacity up to 1TB through the integrated microSD card slot. The device incorporates a specialized Hard Gyro sensor designed for precise motion control in gaming applications and enhanced GPS navigation in challenging environments such as underground parking facilities or dense forest areas.

Battery and Charging Capabilities

One of the most significant upgrades comes in the form of charging technology. The Hot 60i houses a 5,160mAh battery with 45W fast charging support, representing a substantial improvement over the previous generation's 18W charging capability. According to Infinix, the enhanced charging system can restore the battery from 1% to 50% capacity in just 24 minutes. The company has also committed to a five-year battery lifespan with support for 1,800 charging cycles, addressing long-term durability concerns.

Camera and Software Features

The photography setup includes a 50-megapixel rear camera capable of recording 1080p video at 30fps, complemented by an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The device ships with XOS 15 based on Android 15, incorporating artificial intelligence features accessible through a dedicated One-Tap AI button positioned on the device's side panel. This integration allows users to quickly access built-in AI functionalities without navigating through multiple menu layers.

Connectivity and Special Features

The Hot 60i introduces UltraLink technology, enabling communication capabilities even in areas without cellular coverage by connecting to other compatible devices within a 500-meter range. Standard connectivity options include dual-SIM 4G support, Wi-Fi 5 (ac), Bluetooth 5.3, NFC for contactless payments and data sharing, and an IR blaster for remote control applications. The device maintains traditional features such as a 3.5mm headphone jack and FM radio functionality.

Durability and Pricing

Infinix has reinforced the four corners of the Hot 60i to withstand drops from heights up to 1.5 meters, while the IP64 rating provides dust-tight protection and resistance to water splashes. The smartphone is available in six color variants: Titanium Silver, Sleek Black, Neon Red, Shadow Blue, Meadow Green, and Soul Eye Purple. In Bangladesh, pricing starts at BDT 14,000 (USD 115) for the 6GB+128GB configuration and BDT 16,500 (USD 135) for the 8GB+256GB variant, positioning it competitively in the mid-range smartphone segment.
