Tecno has partnered with German luxury brand Loewe to launch a unique eco-friendly version of its Camon 30 smartphone series. The standout feature of this new LOEWE Design Edition is its innovative back panel coating partially made from recycled coffee grounds.

Tecno claims this is the industry's first smartphone to incorporate recycled coffee grounds in its design. The company positions it as a blend of sustainability, style and cutting-edge technology.

The eco-friendly manufacturing approach and use of bio-based materials align with growing consumer interest in more sustainable electronics. However, it's worth noting that only the back panel coating utilizes the recycled coffee grounds, not the entire rear cover as initially reported by some outlets.
