The Honor Magic V2, launched in July 2023, currently holds the title of world's thinnest horizontal folding phone at just 4.7mm unfolded and 9.9mm folded. Honor claims the V3 will be even thinner, though exact dimensions have not been revealed. This would be a remarkable feat considering many standard smartphones are thicker than the V2's folded state.

The Honor Magic V3 will be available in four nature-inspired colors: Black (frosted matte glass), Green (frosted matte glass), White (glass with a light-reactive finish), and Dark Orange (vegan leather with gold accents). The vegan leather option is expected to be the lightest variant. Honor has hinted at a folded thickness of 9.Xmm and a weight of 22X grams for the Magic V3. The device will feature 5.5G cellular support and two-way satellite communication capabilities. Additionally, the camera setup is expected to include a triple rear camera system with a periscope telephoto lens.
