Meta's Reality Labs has developed AI view synthesis algorithms that can automatically convert standard two-dimensional Instagram photos into an immersive 3D format. Beyond the 3D photo capabilities and Navigator, the v77 update brings several quality-of-life improvements to the Quest platform. These include experimental support for Bluetooth Low Energy audio devices, a new window-following feature that allows selected windows to move with the user, and a unified PC app called Horizon for PC that combines Meta Quest Link, casting, and remote desktop functionality into a single application.
