Once Human Developer Cracks Down on PvP Exploits, Announces Winter Update

Starry Studio, the developer behind the popular survival game Once Human, is taking a firm stance against cheaters while also preparing to launch an exciting new winter-themed update.

Strict Measures Against PvP Exploiters

In response to players abusing terrain exploits in the new Prismverse's Clash PvP mode, Starry Studio has announced strict action to maintain fair gameplay. Violations will result in:

  • Wiping of all points earned by offending characters
  • Account bans lasting a minimum of 30 days, up to 10 years for severe cases
  • Investigation of associated accounts

The developer is also implementing a new detection system and removing the ability to place Prism Deviations in water. Players are encouraged to report rule-breakers with screenshots through in-game support tools.

The Way of Winter Update Coming Mid-October

Alongside the crackdown on cheaters, Starry Studio has revealed details about the upcoming The Way of Winter update, set to launch on October 17th. This major content drop will introduce:

  • A new PvE scenario split into five seasonal phases
  • Challenges involving extreme heat and cold
  • New public events and dungeons
  • Legendary weapon and armor blueprints
  • A climactic battle against the Chaosweaver

The update will also bring adjustments to seasonal tags, Cradle Override mechanics, and introduce a new blueprint conversion feature for high-level players.

With these upcoming changes, Starry Studio aims to keep Once Human competitive in the crowded survival game market while ensuring a fair and enjoyable experience for all players.
